Orlando or BUST

Orlando Ever planned a vacation that seemed like it was eons away....and then, before you knew it, was upon you?   If so, you feel my pain!   Back in January, when the trip was merely in the discussion phase, I had such grand plans for my planning.  I bought a book, I looked at sites in the Internet, and I discussed it with whomever was unfortunate enough to be around me during the frenzy.  However with the actually planning having to wait until 180 days before the trip, there was little I could do.  I longed for June and went about the everyday rat race of life.  Then, I promptly forget all about planning until the beginning of this month.

When I realized that November was here, I frantically dialed the Disney World hotline.  The kind operator and I spent the next few hours attempting to book certain dinners and restaurants.  Take it from this vacation planning slacker, there is next to nothing to be reserved less than a month before your trip.  All the spots are taken by the organized planners who took care of this MONTHS ago!  The operator actually kept apologizing when I felt like I should be for waiting so long to call!

So my family and I are planning to eat a lot of counter service meals.  Not that it really matters, as Disney is not known for it elegant cuisine!  At least we will be munching on our chicken and French fries with MICKEY MOUSE!   Orlando or bust, baby!
